On the other hand, marble floors are an upscale architectural feature, and their costs reflect this fact. In general, they do not endure as long as slate, granite, or other natural stones, and they are considered to be on the more expensive end of the spectrum of stones that are entirely made of natural materials. Marble tile often costs around twice as much as ceramic tile does.

Maintenance.

After installation, maintaining a marble tile floor is comparable to maintaining a ceramic tile floor in that it requires sweeping and damp mopping in the same manner. Marble, on the other hand, has a higher porosity than ceramic tile does, and as a result, water shouldn’t be allowed to pool or stand on its surface. Stone can get discoloured if water is allowed to stand on it because water can enter it. If this is the case, cleaning the marble at regular intervals is an option that may be considered as a remedy.

Tiles are more cost-effective than marble flooring; their prices range from fifty cents to one dollar and a half per square foot, depending on the type of tile you select. There are numerous different types of tiles, including Italian, Indian, and others.
